Founder & President
ScanVue Technologies was founded by Willem den Boer. Willem earned his B.S. and M.S. in physics and his doctorate in electrical engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He has worked more than 20 years in the display industry and is a recognized leader in AMLCD research and development. He is a fellow of the Society for Information Displays and is the author of the book "Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Displays", available from online bookstores. Previously, Willem had management and research positions at OIS Optical Imaging Systems and at Planar Systems. He has been inventor or co-inventor on more than 45 patents in the fields of flat panel displays, sensors and amorphous silicon devices, including super high aperture TFT LCDs and color-on-array TFT LCDs.
